My lucky day

Lithocarpus densiflorus
Tan Oak
FAGACEAE, The Oak family

A really swell co-worker hunted down two (two!) varieties of tan oak for my garden. They are little babies – about 10″ tall each. But they’ll grow. One is a tree form, the other is shrubby. I believe in planting oaks. I’m happy.

About Mulysa

I love my work as a landscape designer and artist. When I'm not planning homesteads or working in the studio, you'll find me hiking, photographing, gardening, baking, cooking vegetarian meals with friends, reading and working on sustainability issues...with my baby on my hip in Portland, Oregon.
