During the night everything froze and then fog rolled in, coating all the plants in ice crystals. The nursery was frosty and beautiful this morning.

I’ve seen white feathers on the ground a few times recently- the Cooper’s hawk likes the doves. I heard that one morning the hawk had caught one in the nursery and the owner came to rescue the small white bird. The hawk hung around for a long time looking for its prey.
