There are exciting goings on in the University of Minnesota’s Horticulture Therapy program. It has expanded to include other modalities that encompass people, plants and animals under the new name of Nature Based Therapy and plans for a new Farm Garden center at the Landscape Arboretum are in the works.
To kick off the new program a conference was held this week called Nature Heals. The image above and 16 other illustrations of mine were part of a performance that included delightful animations by Lisa Rydin Erickson. It was a wonderful creative group to work with and I loved having time in the studio every day to make new work (it’s difficult with a little one!).
