Seed and Plant Exchange

Sustainable Overlook Gardening Series 2013

Thursday, March 21st from 6:30-8:30 pm

Location TBA

Have extra seeds? Plants that have outgrown their allotted space? Or if are you just starting out, this is the gardening event for you. Seasoned gardeners with a wealth of information (and extra plants and seeds) are eager to encourage the greening of our community. Expect conversations about how to successfully plan for year-round bounty, leave with seeds and plants, or unburden your excesses and be gratified in the knowledge that you have spread the joy of gardening to others. No need to RSVP, just bring your seeds and plants and/or containers to take home your new adopted garden life.

This fun annual event is organized by my neighbor Alice and me. We have LOTS of seeds and plants to share, as do other members of Sustainable Overlook. I will be posting a preview list here closer to the time.

Heirloom bean seeds to eat, save and share.

About Mulysa

I love my work as a landscape designer and artist. When I'm not planning homesteads or working in the studio, you'll find me hiking, photographing, gardening, baking, cooking vegetarian meals with friends, reading and working on sustainability issues...with my baby on my hip in Portland, Oregon.
