Planted

CUCURBITACEAE, The Squash family

In tray packs, in my indoor mini-green house:

Zucchini ‘Fordhook’
Melon ‘Vedrantaise’
Pumpkin ‘Sugar Pie’
Pumpkin ‘Cinderella’ aka ‘Rouge Vif d’Etampes’

Also:
Basil ‘Lime’
Basil ‘Genovese’
Basil ‘Siam Queen’

Because melon + basil is the ultimate summer treat.

The lovely little Charentais-type melon ‘Vedrantaise’ takes 80 days to mature. It has blue-green skin with white webbing and orange flesh. I hope, I hope.

About Mulysa

I love my work as a landscape designer and artist. When I'm not planning homesteads or working in the studio, you'll find me hiking, photographing, gardening, baking, cooking vegetarian meals with friends, reading and working on sustainability issues...with my baby on my hip in Portland, Oregon.
