Helianthemum ‘Henfield’s Brilliant’

Sunrose

These gorgeous creatures are blooming their hearts out in the parking strip in front of the nursery. I planted them there last summer in an attempt to have some sort of curb appeal, something to look at besides concrete, anything to hint at what’s inside the store.

While sunrose has been a featured plant already, this cultivar deserves special mention. It’s an eye-swimming color. Sort of Chinese red, with dusty blue-green foliage for an almost Valentino contrast.

They bloom for a long time, are drought tolerant and do best in full sun.
