California poppy
Growing on Rocky Butte. Rocky Butt. Backdrop: Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens.
Dispite the cool and windy day, it was in bud, flower and fruit. Lots of seedlings on the hillside among the grasses, among thistles, asters, red clover and heuchera. On the top of the butte in the mown lawn grew Bellis perennnis. It was all prrreeetty.
